SAMSUNG E&A a total solutions provider for the global energy industry, is set to launch the “SAMSUNG E&A Tech Forum 2025” on June 20 at its Global Engineering Center (GEC) in Sangil-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul. The event aims to bring together domestic and international energy professionals to explore the future of energy technologies and innovation-driven commercialization directions.
The forum expects to be attended by approximately 500 people, including global clients such as Saudi Aramco, ExxonMobil, and Petronas, as well as global partners in the energy sector such as Honeywell UOP, Johnson Matthey, Gidara, Nel, Carbon Clean, and Baker Hughes, as well as domestic and overseas partners.
This forum is the second of its kind and was organized to inform potential customers of the company's technological capabilities, including innovations in technology and performance in the eco-friendly energy transition field, which SAMSUNG E&A has selected as a future new business, and to seek new business opportunities with participating companies.
Under the theme of "Weaving Technology Threads, Delivering Excellence", this forum contains presentations of technology solutions by experts in various fields, including energy transition, eco-friendliness, innovative technology, and finance, followed by panel discussions and seminars.
SAMSUNG E&A will open the SAMSUNG E&A Tech Forum 2025 with an opening speech by President and CEO Hong Namkoong and an announcement of the company’s future “Technology Roadmap” represented by E&Able and AHEAD. The main event will be divided into sessions for E&Able (Enable, energy transition, and eco-friendly sectors) and AHEAD (Ahead, innovative technology sectors).
First, the forum will explore the future direction of energy technology development through presentations and discussions led by global experts in key areas such as green hydrogen, carbon capture, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), and eco-friendly water treatment.
In addition, dedicated seminars covering each stage of the project lifecycle—including design, procurement, and construction—will showcase SAMSUNG E&A’s distinctive performance innovation model, offering participating companies valuable insights, best practices, and practical application strategies. A separate exhibition space will also showcase innovative technology solutions invested in and developed by SAMSUNG E&A.
Meanwhile, SAMSUNG E&A is accelerating the promotion of new energy businesses centered on three enable strategies: ▷E&Able Low (enable low, low carbon), ▷E&Able Zero (enable zero, carbon-free), and ▷E&Able Circle (enable circle, environment) in response to the era of energy transition. In addition, the company is continuously pursuing the AHEAD strategy to overcome the limitations of the EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) industry and secure differentiated performance competitiveness based on innovative technologies such as DT (digital transformation), automation, and AI (artificial intelligence).
A SAMSUNG E&A spokesperson said, “We hope that this forum will serve as a venue for communication to explore and commercialize future energy technologies and innovative technology directions,” and “Based on a differentiated performance innovation system, SAMSUNG E&A plans to lead the future energy market by preemptively securing eco-friendly core technologies.”
